The yam and Paneer sandwich, where in the goodness of Paneer and wholesome yam blended together to give you a healthiest and tastiest sandwich. The core ingredient, Paneer is a good source of proteins and a great favourite with vegetarians as well as non-vegetarian eaters.  Paneer loved by mostly everyone in India and anything with Paneer in it just levels up its taste and health quotient.

Paneer has the protein and is a good in quality as well as quantity. Proteins in Paneer help in promoting satiety and also boost metabolism helping in losing weight. Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 150 grams Kand (Yam)
  • 50 gm Paneer
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green Chillies chopped finely
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp – Ground Nuts (Half Crushed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Oil for brushing
  • *Salt to taste

Recipe:

  • Slice the Yam ( Like Bread )
  • Steam it until soft. Cool them.
  • For the stuffing, mix all the ingredients very well.
  • To proceed take 1 Slice of Yam place the filling on it Cover with the second slice.
  • Bake in a hot oven at 200 degree C (400 degree F) for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot with Coconut Mint Chutney.
