Moong are wonder food due to its high nutritional value. They help in development of a healthy body and mind. It ensures blood purification and strengthens the immune system there by enabling healthy living.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Split Moong Dal soaked overnight
  • 1 Cup Besan (Bengal Gram Flour)
  • 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Medium Onion chopped
  • 2 Piece Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 Tea_Sp Pomegranate Powder
  • 1 Tea_Sp Methi Leaves dried
  • Add to taste: Salt, Pepper
    2 Table_Sp Oil

Method:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and knead into a soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into 14 equal portions and roll them into thick circles of 2.5″ diameter.
  • Heat a Tava and cook each paratha using little oil till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  • Serve Hot.
