While listening the word “Jain Diet”what first comes to our minds are many restrictions and a boring diet.
The fact is that there are many foods in the Jain Diet that are interesting and changing in the cooking methods can help in making it tasty. Below mentioned is such a recipe where the normal cucumber salad is made tasty and tangy by making some changes in the recipe.
Serving
- 1 Soup Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Medium Cucumber peeled and chopped
- 1 Tea_Sp Sugar
- 1 1/2 Tea_Sp Vinegar
- 1 Table_Sp Onion chopped
- 1 Tea_Sp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 Tea_Sp Ajwain Seeds optional
- *Add to taste: Salt,Pepper, Chilli Flakes, Oregano

Method:
- Mix all together and refrigerate.
- Give time for flavors to meld about 1 hr.
