Hara Bhara Soya Tikki Recipe

Evening snack plays a very important role in your diet for weight loss. We all either tend to skip the evening snack or tend to eat something fried like vadapav, samosas, cutlets, pani puri etc.

Veg Sandwiches, Nuts, Khakras, Roasted Chana, Sprouts are few common options that are suggested in common while following diet for weight loss.

Hara Bhara Soya Tikki (Serves 4)


  • 1 Cup Palak (Spinach) blanched and chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Soya Granules
  • 1/4 Cup Coriander chopped
  • 1 Tea Spoon Ginger Green Chilli Paste
  • 1 Tea Spoon Garlic Clove finely chopped
  • 2 Table Spoon Chana Dal (Split Bengal Gram) powdered roasted
  • 2 Table Spoon Besan (Bengal Gram Flour)
  • 1 Tea Spoon Oil for greasing and cooking

*Add to taste: Salt,Pepper


  1. Soak the soya granules in enough lukewarm water for 30 minutes and squeeze out all the water.
  2. Combine all the ingredients, including the soya granules, in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a 45 mm. (2″) flat round tikkis.
  4. Heat and grease non-stick pan using ¼ tsp of oil and cook each tikki, using little oil, till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
