Due to time constraints, most of the people are moving towards replacing healthy breakfast with some meal replacers or the commonly available protein shakes.

It is not a healthy practise to take these artificial meal replacers on a daily basis. Below mentioned is the recipe of natural home made protein shake, which can be consumed on a daily basis to fulfil the requirements of a healthy breakfast. As its home made, its safe to be consumed on a daily basis, use of Soya milk makes it a rich source of protein.

Start your day with a healthy breakfast by including this Home made Healthy Protein Shake

Apple Cinnamon Soya Shake (Serves 6)

Ingredients:

  • 3 Medium Apple chopped
  • 1 Cup Soya Milk chilled
  • 2 Cup Low Fat Milk chilled
  • 1/2 Tea Spoon Dalchini Powder (Cinnamon Powder)
  • 1 Tea Spoon Sugar

Recipe:

  1. Combine the apples and sugar and blend in a mixer to a smooth puree using a little milk.
  2. Add the soya milk, milk and cinnamon powder and blend again it smooth.
  3. Pour equal quantities of the drink into 4 individual glasses and top with ice-cubes.
  4. Serve immediately.
